This restaurant has been done up recently. It does nothave the old ambiance anymore - in the past it was a little dingy if you ask me. Now it has a much better ambiance and some reasonably good decor - I like it better now. The food is **fantastic** and you have some of the best North Indian food you can get in Cochin.
The service is normally good however when you have a full house, things start to get tardy - service becomes slow - sometimes they forget to bring all the dishes you ordered and stuff like that. On a weekday, service is good because it is not so full up - on a weekend, try and get in early - before the rush if you are keen on good service. Moreover, there is a turnover of the serving staff which lends to the irregular service as well.
I must stat that the quality of the food remains good irrespective of whether there is a full house or not - I will definitely recommend this restaurant. Like some of the other reviewers have mentioned, prices have increased a bit over the years but I definitely think it is value for money. Ver recently a meal for 3 cost us Rs. 450 including an ice-cream which cost Rs. 85.
