Another "authentic" Punjabi food joint, at Indiranagar and it was time to put the name and its reputation to the test. To talk about the place, I was amazed to see how well they had decorated the small space that they have. It was Punjabi Kothi sort of interiors with big wheels of the bullock cart mounted on the windows. There are some pretty wall hangings too, that you will see here and there.
To talk about the food, we called for a chicken soup, 2 chicken starters and 2 veg starters, The veg starters were paneer and they were pretty good. The chicken starters too were yummy. For the Mains, I called for Butter Chicken and Garlic naan. My friends, were keen on having Maake ki Roti and Sarso ka Saag and ordered 2 plates of it.
Our food arrived and I must say, it tasted fantastic! The chicken and the garlic naan went together very well! The saag and the corn roti too was delicious! Do try their Gajar ka Halwa, as it is the best in town!
P.S- I just LOVED their menu. It has paintings and drawings of Punjabi women and other things village. Overall, a wonderful place to eat at.
