Review of the trailer of Tanhaji

The overall product is excellent in terms of Indian standards;

Ajay Devgn is excellent as usual and there’s no denying that this is going to be most historically correct depiction of the Maratha Empire in Bollywood till now. Looking at director Om Raut’s knowledge about history in the launch event of the trailer gave me positive vibes.

But the most surprising and pleasing package of the movie is Saif Ali Khan;

I am an admirer of his acting skills and he looks menacing in every frame of the trailer.

Raut also played a masterstroke by casting Sharad Kelkar as Chhatrapathi Shivaji Raje Ji Maharaj and I think it will be his most important contribution to Indian Cinema as an actor and his voice is something that every man carves for and was the indirect reason that Prabhas got trolled for dubbing in Saaho.

No offense but from the next time only Sharad should dub for Prabhas in his Hindi releases

The makers also played smartly by not revealing much about the roles of Pankaj Tripathi and most in demand Telugu villain Jagapathi Babu in the trailer.

Those who know about the real story of Tanhaji like me knows that these two nuclear bombs of acting will be having the everlasting impact with their impactful roles in the movie.

The only regret being the music responsibility given to Sachet - Parampara. Nothing against them but I think someone like A.R Rahman or Amit Trivedi, though Ajay -Atul are there but only for one song but they should have been given full responsibility. They would have given more menacing and better background music and songs as they have done good jobs in their earlier historical background movies in large scale.

The graphics looked bleak in between maybe because I only watched that in 2-D maybe those scene in 3-D might be looking better.

I hope this movie turns out to be biggest blockbuster of Ajay Devgn and Saif Ali Khan.
