Honda Activa is definitely the best selling 2 wheeler but Tansi Honda, Marthahalli Bangalore is one of the worst franchise. I gave my Activa 3G for service on 22nd of March. It was 3rd free service. My vehicle was working absolutely file before I gave it for service except some minor issues like loose brake and loose side stand. The person who received my vehicle asked me to get Teflon coating done, charges for which is Rs 500, I felt it is not necessary and I declined. He checked the vehicle properly and gave me an estimate of Rs 550 and told me that I can collect the same by evening 6’O clock. When I went to collect the vehicle, it was not ready for delivery. After half an hour one person brought the vehicle and told me to pay the charges. Wax polish was pending(For which I was charged Rs 50). I paid the amount and I was asked to take the vehicle. I asked whether he did the polish? He immediately brought one dirty closth from somewhere and started acting like he is polishing and in the process he put a small scratch in the body.
Now real story starts. As I mentioned above that there was no issues with my vehicle. It used to start with one push of self start button. While I was about to take my vehicle, I had to push 3 times. I thought it might be normal. But next day also I faced the same issues. Then I got a feedback call from the service center on Friday(2 days after I received my vehicle back) I explained everything and the lady who made the call assured me that issue will be rectified immediately after I bring my vehicle back to the service center. I was bit occupied during the weekends, So I told that I will bring my vehicle on Monday. She said ok. I went to the service center on Monday around 10 A.M. I explained the issue again to two persons named Arun and Umesh. They said need to leave the vehicle in service center and can collect by 3 P.M. I said ok and left. Arun called me around 2P.M and told me that there is problem with spark plug we are replacing that. You come at 3 P.M and collect your vehicle. I reached there at 3:10 and checked with some in the service center. He told me to call a person named Reddy whose number was given in the job card. He told me that vehicle is not ready and I need to come in the evening and someone will call me. I did not get any call till 7.30. I called the same person Reddy(number 9731996869) again around 8P.M to check whether my vehicle is ready. And he responded yes, I can come and collect the same. It was too late and I was in office at that time, so I told him that I will come in the morning. He said ok. Morning again I called him to check whether I can come? He said yes you can come around 9.30 and collect your vehicle. When I reached in the morning I got to know that my vehicle is not ready and nobody was sure about how much time it will take. Then I met this fg bd Reddy who was lying all the time. In all these visits I spent around 600 for auto fare. I got frustrated and called Mr Madhusudan(Service Head) of Tansi Honda. And he again assured me that I will get my Activa in a proper condition. But his words also don’t seem to have any commitment.finally I got my vehicle and again I had to pay 360 Rs.
