Everyone is wedding everyone!!

Sometime life gets a hit due to so called “movie reviewers” and you end up facing disappointment with the final product.

I have not seen the first part of the movie so will be having comments on part-2 standalone. First of all I would like to thank those people with a “gurrrrr” who has given 4 to 5 stars to this piece of art. Same happened with Badalpur and now I feel like not reading reviews anymore.

The simple funda of getting a so called successful movie now days is frame a character which will be on its own “arrogant”, “idiotic”, “doing things of his/her own wish” etc, Than allow the character to portray these things on silver screen with full freedom. This is how provably “Bhai” has been a big hit always and it has proven as a success formula for “Tanu weds manu” also. Just frame a single character which will keep commanding the things and let script and logics “Rest in Peace”.

Starting with acting I would like to say that everyone in the movie played his/her role well. Kangna was brilliant in role of “Kusum” and I don’t have any comment for her role as “Tanu”. Madhavn played his role good as a confused husband and Jimmy shergil is always a fine actor, his moustache always reminds me of a class act in “Sahib Biwi-2” and the best dialogue “Ab hum khade ho gaye hai, ab hum aur daraenge”. Rest all actors were also good.

Plot of the movie has its background and was bound with characters so there was little scope of working on that, but it looked confused and second half was actually boring, Good dialogues kept on moving the things but I wondered that some of the audience were soooo happy on even unwanted ones. But some of those were actually class, specially delivered by hrayanvi avtarof Kangna.

Music was good but could not be used properly, filming of “banno” was really good; the song used in Manu’s second barat was real useless and not needed et al. That act of Kangana irritated actually, I still could not understand what made the director to stretch the second half that long(or because of useless things it was feeling long). Lyrics like “Banno tera swagger laage sexy” is so honey singh types.

With reviews like 4 to 5 stars given by various critics, I have come to a conclusion that we have probably developed an understanding that anything which is strange and different is praised now days, logics are trashed. Overall it’s a onetime watch entertainer and nothing like a classic as it is being portrayed by media and some of the critics & viewers.
