An Evening wasted!

Go and sit in the cinema, curtains move and suddenly you see the

yashraj logo. You then realise that, though the fim may be repeated

many times, its time for entertainment.

As soon as you hit interval and you go outside for a cigarette, the thought comes to your head - ’why did I bother!’

Tara Rum Pum is one of the most pathetic films to release this year and theres quite a few of them! Shocking to realise that this director is the man who directed

’Salaam Namaste’, which though not perfect, was still a good watch.

Saif is a Nascar ’number 1’ racer who has a wife and 2 children.

Buys everything on monthly instalments including his clothes and shoes.

He has an accident and can’t drive again due to trauma. His house gets

repossesed, along with his clothes, shoes, cars, Rani’s engagement ring

etc and they are forced to live in some shanty flat. The story then

goes that Saif becomes a taxi driver because he has promised his

daughter that he’ll keep her in the same school. No water so they have

a bath in the public fountains, money needed for school fees so they

starve and when the kids find out the situation, even they starve which

causes the son of Saif in some disease. And how Saif fights the odds to

win back what he’s lost, finishes the film...

The story may look interesting to read but the whole treatmment to the film is near bogus.

Rani follows on her Baabul act, no acting, just there for the sake of it.

The music - the song ’Saiyaan Re’ is brilliant and its well

picturised and goes with the mood. This is the only thing about the

film I enjoyed. AND PLEASE - New York is getting boring in Hindi films, find another God damn location.

If this film becomes are bigger hit than Guru & Namaste London, this will be the biggest unjust ever in Bollywood

After watching this 3 hours of headache, I’ve realised how important Shahrukh Khan is for yashraj films.
