As portability is a must for laptop users, buying compact speakers not dependenton Mains power or(expensive) batteries is an important consideration. Targus an UK based accessories MNC offer USB powered Notebook Speakers(AWM04AP) that really enhance your audio experience.
As we know, even the so called good Laptop(inbuilt) speakers like JBL or Altec sound jittery in laptops and hence an external speaker is a must . I purchased these USB speakers a year ago and minimally used them till recently. It is when I connected them to my Home PC(that doesnt have ext speakers) that I realized their Quality and might.Even at very high volumes there is no Jarringgg. Even the 1W each rms power of speakers appears much louder and clearer.
The design of the speakers is great and Targus have improvised by making them fold-ablewith an innovative stand built-in. The sound quality of the speakers is amazing for their size and price(about Rs. 1000/-) and whether you’re watching movies, playing games or listening to MP3s, they truly enhance your hearing experience.
The speakers also support a frequency of 150Hz to 18Khz(as per manufacturer) for exceptional sounding stereo sound. It has two cables and all that You have to do is Plug in the USB into your PC/Laptop USB port and the Audio cable of the Spkrs into your PC headphone socket. No hassles installation.
With a size of 21.9 x 2.6(thickness) x 6.6 cm, the Targus Multimedia Speakers in my opinion are Highly Recommended. Any way watch out for competing products as I have not tried everything on earth, CAN I?
