I still remember that day in 2009, I was over phone talking in my mother tongue, and this guy from tata AIG came and introduced himself as a guy from my native place and took my phone number. Just in 2 days, he called and said his job is in stake and he is not able to finish his quota of selling the products and I can help him if I go for an investment plan which is the best in the industry. I did not think much except saving his job, and went for investing in Tata AIA Life InvestAssure Insta(110L065V01).
From that day since today I am paying the premiums. financial market is doing just great(at least for now), and before paying the next premium which is due in a month I just checked my a/c.(with lots of hope)
what I see,
I get less then 5% on my investment, I have paid more then 5% toward admin charges, no idea why I pay when they cant manage my money properly. And I have no option to opt out without paying another 20% of my investment.
In a nutshell, I feel quite cheated but no idea what to do with them. I am just paying for the living of their employees and keeping the company live. This is how I console myself for being such a fool.
