Every medical company cover claim if you are hospitalized for at least 24 hours. I was searching for a medical insurance which has policy to cover doctor visits which don’t require any hospitalization. I found it in TATA AIG.
When I was in the process of finalizing this TATA AIG medical insurance policy I asked that , Will you cover my doctor visits for my Back pain. They said that yes, we consider this as a injury case (no need to wait 90 days) and will give you claims regarding your back pain. I asked every person who contacted me from their office before finalizing this policy (cost me 2800 Rs) even in the confirmation call. And they all gave me same reply that they will give me claims regarding my back pain.
So I was convinced and take the policy and give them the cheque. First bad experience I came across that the papers I got very late (they committed for one week).
Second when I contacted their helpline (for settling claim) to ensure that whether they give me claim for my back pain, the person told me that we don’t cover this and if you want a cover then you have to wait 90 days. I was shocked that how the person how contacted me can say all false things just to sell his policy. Even all other employees who
Was involved in that call.This is not the end. I tell them to write a complain about their Noida Branch. And they gave me some time that this query will be resolved and its going to be over 2 months there is no response of my call. Even I have contacted me several times in this period.
So now its up to you that even after you want to fall into their luring offer Or want to stay safe.
