My car was inspected by the inspector sent by Tata-AIG. I was told that car cannot be insured as Wind screen is broken. Since there was nothing wrong with the Wind screen, I objected to it . Then I was told that Bumpers are completely broken and having dents all over the body. I asked Tata-AIG to prove their statements with the photos taken by the inspector. In the mean time, I contacted Oriental insurance. Their inspector approved my car in no time. After getting my car insured with oriental insurance, I told the inspector and manager of oriental insurance about the false comments of Tata-AIG.They told me that inspectors in Tata-aig give false report, if you do not bribe.
The worst is that when I tried to bring the matter to the attention of senior management about the malpractices going on, they just ignored. Instead of providing justification for the report with the photos, they changed their statement again about the car . I was surprised how can there be 3 reports in Tata-aig against one inspection of one car. It clearly shows that even top management of Tat-AIG is corrupt , unethical.
One should avoid dealing with such a third grade company. You will never know how they cheat you.
