Is it really A Tata company?

I was having dilemma in selecting a travel insurance plan between few companies.


Just overriding that idea, I was chosen to go for TATA AIG just because most IT companies do take their insurance( don’t know why).


Issued faced:


1) Pathetic web site. Just wonder how this was designed, must be TCS done this. Very very bad design and ignored customer / user requirement.


2) Pricing is more than the once I short listed. Thought if service is good we can pay extra.


3) Called customer care for some clarification. They are very brief and upto the point, which may not be understandable for not commerce background guys.


4) Tragedy part is this. I selected and went to payment. I was given inputs and OTP too, then it went down with some message. I dint even get SMS about the deduction.


5) Then gone back to payment section again( from Back button). Thinking the problem may with Credit card, I used another card. Similar problem occurred. But said transaction done.


6) But in a minute I got two deduction messages from both Credit cards.


7) I called and spent 50 minutes literally over the phone. Which is my longest conversation with customer executives. It was happened on 26th of February.


8) They said it will be returned in a week. but after many email, still not received the credit back.
