I came to know this incident through a person who suffered by this insurance company.
A poor person has taken life insurance from TATA AIG. He met accident and lost his life.His family was not able to clime the amount. At first they are going thru the background of customer. Then start acting according to the customer. As per the info , all the docs are fine. Still they are not paying the clime. The poor man’s family first file case on consumer and the judgement came in favour of poor man’s family. Then AIG has re appealed the case in supreme court. Like this AIG is cheating poor Indian’s.
If the same happens in there own country (USA), the GOVT. will take action against AIG. But this is India, laws are not applicable to poor and middle class Indians.
