We had a mediclaim insurance with Bajaj Alliance. Tata AIG sales people came and made tall claims showing benefits and all and convinced us to change it to TATA AIG and ensured that all the tenure we have spent with Bajaj would be considered with TATA AIG as such from begining. Now after almost obne year of the policy, my daughter had tonsillitis operation and I have sent all documents as required for the claim. The answer I get from the claim settlement department is that it is rejected because this medical procedure cant be claimed within 2 years of taking policy. And they also said, our sales people must have said something, you can talk to them only why they said so that time spent with Bajaj will be considered in this policy too.
The sales people and office people have different versions of their own which suits and benefits them. Sales people get policies after telling lies and office people just say we dont know, which helps them not paying for the claims. Simple game by Tata AIG. Just ignore please
