I bought my bolt a year and a half ago. My decision to buy the bolt came after extensively testing many other cars in this segment. I was very impressed with the features that the bolt came with. The car has a very good sound system by Harmon. The audio system also doubles as a climate control system. The car has good road stability and even a high speeds the car gives you a lot of confidence. The steering wheel is very light in slower speed but becomes heavier as the speed increases.
The Space inside the car is good, even with the front seats completely pushed back there is ample leg room for the rear passenger. but all that cabin space translates to lesser boot space in comparison to most cars in its class.
I was not very happy with the fuel economy in the fist year(I was averaging about 12 KMPL with most of the diving being in the city), but after the first years service I see that the car gives about 13-15 KMPL within the city and about 18-20 on highways. For the price TATA is giving a real value for money. you will not find any other car this is segment with climate control, EEPS, CNS, ABS, dual front air bags, projector head lamps and a host of other features.
My only concern with the product is the after sales service. This is one area where TATA motors really needs to improve.
TATA motors had promised its customers that this car will not be given for commercial use, but I guess they have not kept their promise. I see a lot of bolts being used as cabs.
