I placed an order for 100 ltr Solar water heater from these guys. Two people Mr. G. Prasad(supposedly the technical guy) and Mr. Shankar were involved from Aditya Associates. These guys are smooth talkiing con-men. First they will promise you that they will deliver the order within 10 days. They will till you sob stories of how MNRE is harassing them and how its impossible for any dealers to get away with bad service. This is solely to convince you to part with your money. Once you hand over the cheque/payement(that they demand in advance) then they will simply ignore you. We waited for more than 2 weeks and they gave us one reason or the other saying they dont have stock/engineers not available etc. We were fed up of this(I wasted more than a few days of my vacation waiting for them to turn up on the promised date and time) and ordered the same model from another dealer and they installed the same model on the same day! Then we asked for a refund from Adita Associates. First they tried to convince us that they will install it soon. When we told them we had gone for another dealer they said they will refund. Then they gave us a cheque for the amount and not surprisingly, the cheque bounced! I was further fined by the bank for their bounced cheque. Even after repeated calls and SMS they have not paid to date. Its been a month now and I am yet to see my money. When you call them they act concerned and say that they will send it via bank transfer etc. But they dont do that!
I am going to lodge a complaint against them at the local police station. Meanwhile please be warned about these guys. Please do not buy from Adithya Associates.
