Good day to one and all. I live very close to CROMA Malad. So I am a regular Window shopper in Croma.Just when you finish paying your Bill, there is this special guy, who will promise you the world.
He will make sure you feel that he will print out a credit card for you.But the most important documents when you apply for a credit card is a Identity proofb Additional Address proof.c Existing Credit card, latest statement with no Credit history.d MOST IMPORTANT ( PAN CARD )
Make sure that you fill up the form yourself, as the agency later fills up any thing & when the verification is done, the information does not match.
Ok after doing all this I got the card.I made a purchase at Croma Malad. of ten thousand plus.Then I forgot about it. The statement had come when I was not present & my wife though it was my TATA Photon Bill which was already paid.
Just after the due date, the rude Guys start calling up at ODD times like afternoon.they just want to come and tahe the Min Amt Due (MAD) ofcourse I was not at home & my wife had to pay some cash money, five hundred plus.Then they are quite. When I recived the second statement, I was realised I had missed on the payment.
The Fault is entirley mine. First time in 15 years I missed on a payment date.I ended up paying One thousand rupees more.The Online payment failed, (Another first for me) But the amount was deducted from my savings account.
I called up the call centre. They said wait for 48 hours.After a day I got a confirmation about the receipt of the payment. The website tatacard dot com is very bad. the icons keep moving up and down & its more like playing a game. Poor graphics. Reminds me of the blue DOS screens
The password took at least ten tries to generate. The rules are that the password must be eight characters. thas OK. there has to be one CAPITAL Alphabet, thats OK. There has to be a number also. Its Ok till here. Now there also has to be a special Character in its, like !@#$%&* etc. This is too much.
The GOOD PARTThe card is Lifetime Free.The Online Payment made was exactly the amount I spent two months back.I still had a payment of 500 rs more to be made.
I called up the call centre to confirm that I have paid 100% of the amount.I requested them to cancel the 600 Rs penalty for paying late.They immediately said OK. they gave me a reference number.and told me to check after 48 hrs. I did check after 48 Hrs, & they gave me a credit of 350 Rs.So after defaulting for the first time, I spent 200 rs extra after making a full payment of the amount spent. In SHORT Happy Ending.
Regarding the Rewards Points, they have the best in the market.However they said it can be withdrawn at any time at their mercy. The Recover agents are the worst behaved. That goes with all card agency.But overall its a free card So No Complaints.
