"No" Customer Service

I had a horrible experience buying an Voltas Window AC. It was delivered on time, but it is till not unboxed and so, I do not know about any possible defects or otherwise. My ordeal began after delivery. Tatacliq was supposed to raise a request for installation to Voltas under a promotional scheme. I informed them as soon as I received the product and they said they raised a request. I followed up next day and requested an escalation as the weather is quite unbearable. I was promised of action. Nothing happened.


Next day I called again and raised second request with a promise to receive a call back from the escalation team for status update. No one called. I called again later the same day spoke to the escalation team directly and they spun a story that Voltas is not taking any calls from them? They are not picking their calls!


Today I called Voltas directly. They took my request but have given another 3 days for installation. The total process is now 1 week. If I had bought from from a local vendor, the whole process would have been done in 1 day. The customer care at Tatacliq is a fraud. They are clueless and rude.


Also, you will be surprised to know that there is not way to raise a complaint. If you want to raise a complaint against customer care, you will need to write "to" the customer service. Never buy from them.
