Tata Consultancy Services was established in the year 1968 by JRD Tata. This company has its operations all over the world and its offices are over 40 countries. In India there are over 3 lakh employees serving for this company. The good part about the company is its welfare schemes for the employees that no other indian company provides till date, and the most good thing is its infrastructure and office buildings are on par with other global MNCs. This company provides the best training for freshers( ILP) which no other company provides, probably Infosys also provides the same type of training, but when coming to the career opportunities in the company is rather less when compared to other companies.The main backlog of this company is we donot get to work on the things in which we are trained, and usually people do not get appreciation or recognition for the work they do and the company is fully filled with filthy politics. It mainly depends on how people play politics effectively will take them to places. The worst thing is people forget what they learnt in training after they join into the projects. Other than these drawbacks its a good company. For a fresher the training is very useful but to start the career in this company its not so fruitful.
