I am employed with TCS from past 1.25 years and here is my opinion for the same.
Salary and benefits: Although it is better compared to other IT companies in terms of Variable Component paid but last year they have just been giving only 50% to less than 4 years employee and 0% to greater than 4 year experience which very much pathetic seeing the company’s growth and a hooping profit of 6000 cr. in a single quarter. Apart from salary you get specified discount(5-10%) while purchasing any TATA group product like fastrack, Titan, Chroma Store.
Job Security: There is no Job Security. Company can decide layoffs and you never when you will be one of them.
Career Growth: Current situation is very much worse seeing which there is very minimal scope for career growth in it.
Work Environment: Politics is not just a word. You will realize this when you enter TCS since you itself will be part of it either as its victim or on the playing front.
CEO Rating: It would be 1/5 since he never seems to be connecting with the employees directly or by any other means.
