This is my experience with Docomo. U will get cheated, even if u r intelligent. Thats how their logic is. I ported to docomo and chose Rs210 plan per month. It gives me 600 mins. A good plan. I wanted to use gprs. I called the customer care and activated 50Rs 2g gprs plan.
They told me I can use 500MB data. I was very careful with the activation and usage since its postpaid. I used internet, checking the balance in between. When I reached 450MB I stopped using internet. By that time they barred my connection. The bill came was Rs 3448.
When I enquired about the bill, they told me its because of internet usage. I told it I used below 450MB. They told "No, u have used lakhs of data. It is 437000. Thats why, the bill is high". After couple of enquiries, I am getting the same from them. I went to the main office in our state in Palarivottom. They told in detail.
They told that I am right that I used less than 500MB(ie 437000 bits, they even don’t know it is bits. Struggled a lot to teach them it is bits). Then they told me this story. I took the connection on 12th of May. The billing date is 24th every month. Bill comes to you on 27th(27th date they have told before). I told ok. They continued. SO billing period is 12th to 24= 12 days. So the 50Rs pack is divided. So you get 150 MB.
I asked them that how can a common man can think this kind of logic , otherwise you should have informed about this earlier. They didnt replied to this. They told to raise a complaint. My 3 months spent on getting a solution for this. They told that they will reduce 1000. I was forced to pay the rest 2448 Rs.
Still there are many that fall in this trap and no one to listen to their grievance. Docomo has the lowest rating here in MouthShut.
