I have bought 2 sims for Rs. 49/- each and recharged them with Rs. 100/- each. To my surprise, the e- recharge took over 12 hours to go through. Then there was a network issue. The network is very unstable resulting in terrible call quality and dropped calls, even outdoors. I registered a complaint about the same, wondering whether it was a sim specific issue, but was told that it was not sim specific but something which could not be improved upon by them immediately.
Fine. New network, give them time, I thought. A few days later, I was surprised to see that one of my numbers was barred while the other was working. I was told that the verification for the number had not gone through and was asked to resubmit my documents. This in spite of me having emailed them about the network issues and receiving calls on both my numbers by their customer care executive, and in spite of me having registered the numbers on their website.
Also, both my nos. were bought together, with 2 sets of similar documents. How was it then that one number was working while only the other was barred? No one seemed to have an answer to this. Have given up on the service and will not use the sims anymore. Its indeed surprising how a company like TATA and DOCOMO being leaders in the telecom field, can display such ineptness in service. Thumbs down to you DOCOMO. Urge ppl to NOT do the new.
