Location: Cochin, Kerala. Due to pathetic service from airtel I took a tata docomo connection. 399 blackberry plan looked attractive with unlimited browsing, chat and email. The sales person was not knowledgeable and he told that I get unlimited browsing in 3g network.
I learned this was wrong when my first bill came in. I was charged 750 for data usages. I contacted the customer service and understood that the sales person gave me wrong commitment. I asked to escalate the call to the manager and talked to Mr Sreekanth. He took down the complaint and got me a full waive off as it was a wrong commitment from the sales guys.
Never hang up the phone at the level 1 support as they are useless. Ask them to escalate the call if you find them stupid and I think you will get what is needed.
