I have two instances of the worst service from TATA DOCOMO.
- I have purchased a sim with mobile no 88 67 46 3530 from the retailer MOBILE CONNECT in koramangala 5th block, and submitted the docs accordingly. after 2 days my mobile was activated @ 9th nov 2010. same day I had been to Hyd to bid send off to my brother who was flying to canada.
on 10th I found that the services were deactivated - I returned to bangalore on 11th nov and contacted the retailer he has the problem is with the DOCOMO - as once the service is activated they are not concerned.
I had a very rough time with the retailer and the docomo untill 29th nov - on that day I had to climisht the distributor runner who picks up the CAF from the retailer - I questioned as to why the docomo record is showing as no docs submitted on my number - whereas the retailer says today that the docs are returned and u are supposed to bring them.
Later, he found the documents and CAF at the relailer shop itself - and I had submit new CAF as I was in need of activation - likely the sim was activated @ 1.12.2010.

i have taken an other sim with no 88 67 46 3558 - as this is a closer no to my prev no from a different retailer in 5th block koramangala. This time for immeidate activation the retailer asked to submit direcltly at DOCOMO office and accordingly I submitted docs on 08 12 2010 - the staff there responded that the docs are fine and it will take less than 48 hours. Since then I had running from pillar to post for this. also send several mails to DOCOMO NODAL AND APPEALETTE AT KK DOCOMO - THERE is no response nor any reply not even any autoreply this is the WORST STATE OF TATA DOCOMO IN KARNATAKA JUST ON 1 - 2 PREPAID CONNECTIONS -
HENCE REQUEST ALL TO BEWARE OF TATA DOCOMO AND THEIER RETAILERS - IF ANY ONE PURCHASES ANY SIM IT IS SOLELY HIS HEAD ACHE TO GET IT ACTIVATED - THE COMPANY = OPERATOR NOR THE RETAILER WILL NOT ACT SUO MOTTO.
THIS IS EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE FROM TATA DOCOMO KARNATAKA.
