I went for Docomo because I was impressed by the second pulse idea...frankly, I’ve been waiting for something like this for ages. Also, I thought my existing airtel network was pretty bad since I had to dial 2-3 times before getting through during peak hours. Acquiring a docomo connection itself was quite simple and the activation was relatively quick.
But it didn’t work with my old nokia 3315 phone, so I had to put it on my new phone and use the airtel connection on my old phone. Today, I’m glad I dint give up the airtel connection because its way ...way better. With docomo, have to dial 3-4 times for the call to get through and during peak hours, almost 20-25 times before I get connected. The network does not even qualify as decent and should be banned by TRAI or something...
p.s: you are always charged 1p extra, which isn’t really something I care about, but given the number of dropped calls and poor connecting time, it adds to the frustration.
