I had purchased the DOCOMO Prepaid Connection because of the following factors
My 80% calls are STD so needed a lower rate
My 90% of local calls are with duration less than 60 seconds
My Previous Post paid connection was not giving me any extra things than a prepaid connection.
After moving to docomo I felt the following things as good
Tariff plan . of course. 1p/1s for any call
Rs.25/- topup which would reduce your call rate to any call to local tata family(docomo, indicom, virgin) to 1p/2seconds
3.Instant balance updates after each calls
100 sms free per day
Website gives you list of last 10 chargeable calls and recharges
The Following are the Worst things I am experiencing
1.Network! no network coverage if you go to any basement parking, even if you are having full network in the ground floor of thesame building
2.Not able to make calls during Peak hours and at busy junctions
3.Not able to receive any incoming calls during office hours
4.Callers complain that they had to try more than once to connect
SMS not delivered! had instance when sent sms received in the other end only after 48 hours!
No docomo network if you are travelling, if you are travelling outside city you are at the mercy of other operators, Coverage is good only in major towns. Each time your roaming network changes as you travell and will end up running out of Battery.
No Customer care at all, do not expect any additional info other than in Docomo website.
Hope this will improve as docomo is a starter.else have to move away.
If you are heavy STD caller and can bear with the non-standard network you can join docomo family.
Please keep an alternate phone for any emergency contact, Land connections in office or any secondary mobile from any other operator will help.
One should have more patience to be a docomo user:)
