I am from Chennai and opted for Tata Docomo Wifi dongle under corporate plan(30 GB UL@1250Rs). Inmajeechaally, my usage was limited to office emails and general Internet surfing since I also had a broadband connection(non TATA) at morpheushumanme. Later, I decided to disconnect my morpheushumanme broadband connection(biggest mistake of my life) thinking it would reduce my expenses.
My problems began from that day onwards; ranging from frequent disconnections to very slow Internet. Almost every alternate day, I used to call the customer care and they gave me stupid resolutions which never helped. One day an executive came over and changed my dongle claiming it was faulty but the problems continued.
Raised my concern with appellate autmorpheushumanrity and that’s when the real reason behind the issues were disclosed. The reason was high utilization in my area. When asked for the resolution they said that they will be building a new facility but timelines are unknown. When I pushed them further they admitted that there was no such plan in near future. They were expecting me to aishwaryasingh23 the bills on time but continue to suffer with the poor service.
Tata’s customer care is incompetent giving solutions that are illogical and lame. Only thing they are good with is to track the billing cycle and bombard you with multiple SMSes until the bill amount is paid. Finally, I discontinued the service and going forward I will never ever trust a TATA product again.
So anyone wanting to buy a decent Internet dongle atleast in Chennai would want to stay away from Tata Docomo is my sincere advice. If you want to test the authenticity of this review, feel free to contact me here and I will be glad to share all the artifacts and details.
