I was fed up with Airtel services & exorbitant charges. I was approached by Tata docomo representative for MNP. I thought of getting migrated to see if it is better. I was chased by the representative to give all the documents & a cheque for Rs.1300/ (ICICI bank datedd 11/04/12). I was very busy, but because of the pestering, I managed to share all the required documents. The money is drawn from my account promptly. I was given a sim card which was to be used by 15/04/12. When I couldnt use I called their toll free & other customer care number. For my surprise they only do sales calls & if I have to talk I have to use TATA phone only. For non subscribers there is no such facility. Very smart.
The next option available with me was to visit nearest show room. The experience is a big hell. First of all they do not understand & even if they, you will be asked to go to some other person. I decided to write to their customer care. There are standard phrases which are sent without any solution. Even after having all the required documents you can not take back your hard earned money which is due for none of my mistake, pathetic. They are giving silly non logical reasons for not activating. After this horrifying experience they wanted me to opt for their service which I decided not to go.
All these people are making money illegally & they make more money by managing people at the highest level. 2G scam is just another example.
