My diesel indica bought in 2006 & found immediately consuming a lot of engine oil. believe me - it is half liter/1000 km.! TAFE in coimbatore are hopeless dealers who don’t know much about service & said the car is okay. Though me an automobile engineer I douldn’t do anything.
Then I went to the other dealer autozone who are good & accepted the engine gulps oil. I wrote to TATA to replace engine who never bothered even to reply me. The dealer did some temporary measures to arrest the oil flow by replacing some stent oiseal or something.
By that time I got dejected & damn cared anything. This is Indian desi technology & I have to accept the reality. Now pouring 2 liters every 5000 hours & running the car with black smoke. The car just touched 40000 km. Wonder how these people take posession of rover/jaguar with this customer care technology(ofcourse those cars won’t give trouble).
Waiting for 3 years to complete to ditch the car & never to turn TATA side ever. God save the customers!
