Economical Car

Well this is my first review, I bought the Indica V2 DLS in August 2004, from prerana motors, bangalore. I was looking for a decent car with a good mileage, and the only car that came into my mind was the indica.

After 15 months and 19000 km, I must say that this car is pretty good and real value for money. It gives a handsome 14km/litre in city traffic and an amazing 22-23Km/litre on the highway (I had taken this on a long drive of 800+ km).

I haven’t faced any problems till date, I get my servicing done at Prerana and they do an excellent job. I really appreciate their ability to match customer expectations.

Some things I would like to mention in particular

1)interiors - they are not very good, ordinary plastic

2)pick up - with the ac on, the car has poor pick-up. I need to switch off the ac. (its the same case even I there is one person in the car or five)

3)reverse lights - I don’t know the reason but only one light get switched on in reverse gear.

Also the top speed of the car seems to be 100-105. (I don’t encourage speeding but on a clear highway I would expect my car to cross hundred easily)

Apart from these I would say its still a very good car for its price. You should go for this car if you want good mileage and a spacious inside.
