My experience with the my TATA Indica V2 (Diesel)has made me write this review!! Lets directly jump into the issues. When we are looking at a small car what is that we can expect from it? On a relative basis, investment for a small car is not a huge sum of money as for other classes so we cannot have a huge expectation form the small car. That does not mean we cannot have some decent expectations!!! So let us look how the Indica lived up to my decent expectations. For a small car space is very important like every other car in the segment it satisfied the expectations...As for the style it is decent for a small car....good..........
But as for the shape of the car there is one big mistake the driver cannot see the front end of the car....so what is the problem...The driver has to judge and drive...We can see a lot of Indica cars having a scratch of bump in its front...Ok lets take it that the driver should be more careful or we can put a metal guard in the front and pass on to other problems in this car........
The car lacks pickup and if you switch on the A/C ....U are doomed....the car justs manages to move when you stop it in a signal.....So you have to switch off the A/C each time you slow down the car....Is that possible? And there can be one other problem sometimes the car will stop and wont start if you are using the A/C....I have experienced people shouting at me in the signals!!!! When ever I move it from the signal I literally curse this car.......I hope these problems are not there in the petrol version of the car....But surely the front end problem still remains.......I am having a worst experience from this car......So if you are planning to go for the diesel version checkout if these problems are rectified in the version that you buy......
Other than that the other details like fuel consumption (for my car it is 10 to 13Km/Liter ), Comforts it is same as any other car of the class....Overall this diesel version is not that great...but one can consider the petrol version.....i dint expect this from the great Tatas.......
Hope this was useful to you!!!!!
