Finally after a long research and thought I decided on which car I want to buy and Tata Indica is what I settled for. It is one of the indigenously designed passenger car. And of course having lot of space and affordable, middle class people like us would love to own it.
And I got it at a real good price in exchange for my old Maruti 800 car. I got this car from Fortune Motors in Andheri for Rs. 3, 10, 000 which includes all the registration and miscellaneous costs. Unlike Maruti 800 this car is available in petrol and diesel versions and of course I bought the diesel one.
My pocket is also happy now as this has cut down my daily expenses to a considerable extent that I used to shell from my pocket. Not to forget mentioning about the smooth power steering which gives a lot of comfort while driving unlike my Maruti 800 which was of an older version and hence obviously didn’t have all these features.
The car also has child safety locks to ensure a safe and secured drive even when I am driving alone with my 2 year old kid. And the disc front and drum rear brakes which can bring car to a rapid halt are simply awesome. When I initially spoke with my friends on my decision to buy this car, they did not like the idea as they said that Tata Indica is nowadays typically a transport car for those working in the call centres, if anyone of you would have noticed.
They started making fun of me saying that I would look like one of the drivers of the cars of call centres. But considering the other benefits I am happy that I took the right decision ignoring their comments. I am a businessman and work at odd hours. Also have to travel a lot. I know it’s hard to believe but it is very true that I traveled about 3, 000 km in just 15 days.
It’s been 2 months now since I purchased my Tata Indica and due to its extensive use I also had the first servicing done just 2 days before. I must say that I am very satisfied with their service and to my luck I have one servicing centre right close to my place. What more could I ask for?
