I have bought Tata Indica DLS one year back. Now clocked 10000kms. The pricing is good. I installed front power windows, central lock music system from tata dealership.
Advantages: Value for money, fulel economy(mileage20 with out AC, 17 with AC on), spacious, higher seat position compared to maruti cars, good interior lighting, powerful AC, stable at at speeds more than 100, bright headlights.
Disadvantages: low engine power output, takes time to reach 40km/hr, quality of window beeding is poor, negligence of dealer after sale of the car, careless free service, my car has got scratches after 2nd and 3rd service.They try to promote TATA insurance policy which cost 40% more than others.
Anyway buy this vehicle if you need to run more than 50kms a day and if you are not planning to enjoy the power of the car. I fill full tank diesel only as diesel is cheaper. Please don’t go for LPG fitted cars from maruti and hyundai. Only buy them if you want to use the car for more than 5 years and need to enjoy power of the car.
