I have been using an indica for about four years now. actually 2 indicas -- my first was a diesel-deluxe of late 99, and the second (my current indica), the gasoline version with power steering.
let me start with history: in the first 6 months of my first indica ownership, I visited the service station some 20 times!! no exaggeration, my problems started within a day of taking delivery of my first indica. those days, my moods were swinging from grief to frustration to desparation to <fill in any negative feeling of your choice>. from that, to my experience with the current 75ps mpfi version, is one huge jump in satisfaction.
i have used my new indica for two weeks now, and I must say my highest expectations have been exceeded. the torquey engine is near-noiseless in 3-4-5 gears, the suspension is far superior to the ones on the earlier models, the a/c is a blast (actually a little too much even at the lowest fan speed), and handling is impressive for its class. I have used a new honda civic when I was posted overseas, and I can honestly say that in terms of driving pleasure, the mpfi indica isnt too far behind that car. in summary, the mpfi indica is really the value-for-money benchmark in the b-segment today.
if you are looking for a spacious, affordable, safe and fun-to-drive b-segment petrol car today, look no further. you wont be disappointed in the indica mpfi, I assure you.
