Indica is good but the Authorised service sucks

My family has owned an Indica V2 for the last 3 years. Its done 59000 kms, Its a family run car used for in city driving, office, kids, market etc. Runs an average of 30-45 km per day. Earlier we had a problem ridden Indica (the non V2 version). We bought it becasue of space and cheaper to run (diesel). The problems started immediately, A/c vent let in outside smell (and continues to do so inspite of many checks); apart from the many small jobs, filters, belts, alternator, clutch plate aseembly (at 27000 kms), steering rod assembly (at 55000 kms) and immediately after this, the radiator (which the service station cliams has to be changed).

JRD is my idol and I have the highest respects for my Ratan Tata, but the company officials seem to not bother about correcting the Govt. like image of TATA products. The quality sucks..the buyer always gets short changed and continues.. My brother who has an INDIGO suffers from the same nasty service. My cousing who has an 18 month old Indigo has just been asked to replace his steering kit assembly..

What happened to the notion of long lasting..? They are making "Made in China’ look like "Made in Holland".. Definitely not the best branding of "Made in India".

The space and mileage still remain the main attraction but I will seriously ask anyone considering a TATA car to be aware of where they are stepping into.
