Tata indica lxi v2 petrol, cool car

I just brought a Tata Indica Lxi V2 Petrol. Its a good car by many standards though it is not rined to the level you may expect. The Lxi version I brought mid march cam as fully loaded and I dint have to spend on anything extra (though I did change the nippon casset player they gave me with a sony cd player).

The biggest pro of the vehicle is its poer and space. Its very comforatable sply for the rear seats which has a huge legroom and headspace. Entry/Exit is very convinient. The power of the car is amazing. It just springs to life with the 75Bhp engine(dont expect a petra out of it, its a small car after all). And crusing in the highway at 140+ mark is a childs play as long as you are comfortable with it( I tried a 140+ mark in the expressway and it was just trillling). The power steering is so good, Just feel very comfortable driving with it. The A/C’s are great, Lxi comes with HVAC, but I always found them to be bad in hot pune summers. The cabin is utterly noiseless.

I have a few cons to, the top being refinement. The parts are of cheap quality and I have afew rttling noises with the rear parcel shelf. It has a little bumpy ride too. And mileage, it sucks with an average of 9~10 in city, man its a petroholic vehicle. No other problems in the last 3 months drive.

Coming to the dealer, I got it from Bhandarai motors, pashar road, pune. They are a real professional lot. There was this guy, a mid aged spectacled man, I guess mr. joshi. He is the sales manager or something and he really knows his cars. Very nice, explained us the entire features of the vehicle and they have a corteous staff too. Pls dont choose Pandit aut, they suck, they were a liar lot in my phone enquiry too.

I got to see the car on the day I booked though I wasnt taking delivery that day. The light on the rear right power window swithc dint work and I asked them to replace it. The day I went to take delivery I found it was fixed. On the way home I realised the Spedo wasnt working, so I returned to the showroom and spoke to mr joshi. He immedialtly arranged for some engineer to work on it, though the engg. took an hour to come( cuase he had to come from a diff showroom or something I guess). They looked into the problem, by now it was pretty late and they had the showroom shut, but still they worked on my car and solved my problem. Cool guys, and rel professional. And atlast I drove my car home.

And as of 2day am happy with the car. My advice to telco is they imporve the refinement of the car and increase the mileage a little, then will have the best cutie on the town.
