The car has been very good until now, Touched about 5500 Kms, it gives a cool 13.5 to 14 Km within city(with A/C On), I agree the A/C is sluggish, but I should say the A/C is much better when compared to the other cars in this segment ( I owned a Zen , pretty good A/C but takes some time to cool such a small cabin),
Although, I still have problems with the Blower going a step down when I switch on the headlamps, of I give a PASS light. Having said this to the dealer, They could do nothing about this even after a couple to trips to the service center, where I was made to wait for over 6 hours just to know what the problem was!, the dealer’s answer was, since the engine is turbo chareged, the FAN takes most of the power when it starts spiinng in the second step (the normal DLG has only single stepping fan, as told by them).the dealers where not ready to lend their ears to our problems
There is a strange noice when the A/C is Cutt-off and is re-started . Otherwise the vehicle is cool, The Pickup in amazing compared to the DLG (non-Turbo) , the cabin Noice is almost nil and is very spacious to accomodate 6.
Engine races ahead in the Flyovers , Excellent torque , I manage to ride at 20 kmph in 3rd Gear.
If TATAS can Invest some time to give a better customer service, Indica will then be the best car ever in its segment.
