Indica V2 Turbo DLG, Bajla Motors, Siliguri

Buying a new car, driving it is like a dream come true for most of the people as myself. It was 2007, after 2-3 months of research we finally settled that ‘indica v2 turbo dlg’ was the best car for us, the car is a good car.

Having accumulated the money to buy car in full cash, we headed for the dealer in siliguri – bajla motors, sevoke road. Had some talk with them at our home, finalized & got the blazing-red indica dlg home-delivered within few days to coochbehar (150 km from siliguri). We were very happy, but it was the beginning of our pain somehow.

The company/dealer sales representative saurav mitra took the opportunity of fooling us.

He thought we don’t know anything technical and how to deal/buy new things and gave us a faulty car which was previously owned by some-body then returned due to the fault (we came to know this after checking some documents). The car had a major engine fault – a manufacturing defect, the coolant line was choked inside engine block causing many malfunction. I must say bajla motors has showed that day how much poor/bad ethics they had i.e. Knowingly sold a defective car to someone – very bad.

In response to our complain, the took in the car to repair kept it for 3-4 day, changed most of the under-hood parts, but failed everytime. Next they wanted to open the engine block/head etc and redo the engine fully.

This was not acceptable to us. Having paid 4.4 lac in cash for new car and getting engine major repair-work within 10-15 days of purchase. We said no, can’t take it anymore. Got a lawyer’s help and replaced the car. (the new car in ok and runs very nice)

So my advice to people is that be careful with bajla motors, siliguri.

Moreover, if you find saurav mitra anywhere, remember you are dealing with a very bad & unethical person, try not to buy car from him. I even got feedback from few car spare-parts dealer that he has been fooling around with many people there as he did with us. Car is a good one, but dealer / sales personnel bad.

My experience with bajla motors and saurav mitra was very bad/poor and very painful. What bajla motors & saurav mitra said was that they had this car there for long & they had to sell it to someone at last. (may be they found us suitable-but was wrong. Think if you are that person selected to be fooled).

Car is good, but:

I will not recommend dealing with bajla motors or saurav mitra.
