Hi All Xeta Lovers,
I m new entrant to the XETA club and thanks to all your reviews that prompted me to buy this gr8 product. I have purchased GLS model from Fortune Motors(Nerul-Navi Mumbai) on 17th Nov.2006 and till now done 250kms. I have spent lot on accessories (LCD monitor, leather covers, central locking etc.etc).It is my first car and I wanted to go for the best.
Since last 3 months I was doing intensive research for buying a Car(our first one). Keeping in mind my requirement, budget and future maintenance I zeroed on XETA. Earlier we were planning for Wagon-R, but its look and compact space bothered us, then we also thought of Santro but it high maintenance cost was a big drawback. Then I went through all the reviews in mouthshut and other Sites and finally took a decision to buy my Salsa Red Beauty....
Since the day I revealed it to my colleagues and my friends, they kept on asking me why INDICA XETA? Then I used to show them a document (containing Comparison with other Cars, cost, specification and other features), which I prepared after my research. And it always makes their Mouthshut!!!!!!!!!
Being a new Driver, I can’t review about the technicalities, but yes as a layman I can say that the drive is smooth without any hitch, gear shifting is smooooth, AC is powerful, interiors are fabulous, space is ample for doing many things inside!!! and yes my Music system (with LCD) rocks......
Its purrrrfect in all department, but I think TATA’s are not marketing it properly, if TATA really markets it aggresively by taking some celebrities or introducing new Ads then the sales graph will definitely peak and reach its zenith....
I as a member of XETA fan club strongly recommed you all to go for this if your budget hovers around 3.5 to 4.5L and you love to ride a powerful gaddi.......
