I have been a previous user of both petrol and Diesel car. Xeta was kind of a alien thing to me, as far as tata was to manufacure Petrol cars. But owning the Indica Diesel, I was very much satisfied with the in cabin space and leg room. It was more than enough for a car of such size. One can easily move to and fro from front seat to back.
Dicky space is very low, compared to Santro. If one fits CNG or LPG, one has to for the space. My first impression while driving the Xeta CNG, was something great. I did not felt the difference of petrol and CNG, but ofcourse, 5% compromise on accelaration. But one can compensate for it looking on the savings. 8kg CNG gas gives me 250kms. Returning me Rs.0.80/- a kilometre.
Ride is great, and power steering is the best. One never feels that they are in TATA car. Once the windows roll off, and AC and sound system on, you are cut off by the outer world.
Over all a best deal, in petrol car with CNG fitting, and now Rs.25000/- off too.
