Hi All,
After driving my Maruti 800 for 5 years I finally decided to get a new car, first choice was of course a Maruti Brand, Budget any ware from 2.50 to 3.50 lakhs.
Options I found :- 1. Alto 2. Zen 3. Santro 4. Indica Xeta (Never seen or drive it before)
Plan was to get Alto for better millage and reliabilty of Maruti but thought why not give a look to other options as well, of course why not as I would be driving it for atleast 5 years .
First was Santro, Good Engine, Milege ..looks are average(Really seems like a box), and parts here comes the catch ... believe me most expensive spare parts in this segment of cars.
Second was Alto, Zen .. No need to think much as they were already trusted brand in my mind so I was ok with them.
And Finally I went to TATA Dealer, Took a Test Drive of Xeta GLG.
First thing that impressed me was Space.... believe e sit in any car be it Esteem, Fiesta etc you would feel much more comfortable with lots an lots of SPACE in XETA.
Second was looks :- Excellent and Impressive styling ..one thing I would like was Alloys(Of course I got them one I Purchased mine one).
Third was Performance :- excellent pickup, syspension and engine is so silent that if your car is ideal you can’t make it up that engine is running or not.
A/C -- You would turn it off as it would be chilling inside withing mins ...(Best A/C in its Class and doesn’t put load on performance)
Guys I tested it for milege and speed ..it would give u anywhere from 11-12 KMS per liter with A/C on in city and near 14-15 on highways.
Top Speed I got was 140 KMPH.. (Don’t try it its actually feels Fast)
And best part is its Tough Body ...u bang into maruti and it will blow up ..!
If you are looking for midsize car with luxury ...GO FOR IT... give a test drive to believe it yourself.
