I bought Indica Xeta GVS after reading positive reviews on Mouth Shut. I was specailly impressed by the comments and review of Mouth Shut member whose id is "MumAvi" . Now I think I did biggest mistake of my life by buying this car. This is to caution all the Mouth Shut readers that "MumAvi" is a manager of TATA Motors. He misguides every Mouth Shut visitors by falsely appreciating this third class car. DO NOT FALL PREY. I bought Indica Xeta and I regret this decision.
Ever since I purchased this car last year, it has gone for repairs literally every month. ECU of this car which costs around Rs.15000 has been replaced on four occasions. I am afraid that once the warranty of this car expires, I shall be compelled to pay from my pocket. This car has zero resale value. Mileage is very poor just 8-9 kmpl. I have tried to sell this but could not find any buyer for the same. This car is uncomfortable for a long drive. Anyone who drives this car for more than 50 kms gets tired easily. AC doesn’t cool. AC is just for the name sake and gives all sorts of annoying noises. Car takes at lest 10-15 mins to start in morning. Once I took this car on a drive from Delhi to Meerut. While coming back next day, this car did not start so I had to get it towed to Delhi with the help of a crane.
Whenever I visit their workshop I see numerous XETA customers fighting with TATA people as they also face several faults in this car. TATA has third class after sales service. For even a small fault they keep the car for atlest 7-8 days in their workshop. TATA people are shameless and they are lest bother about their customers. Tata people are trained to deal with truck drivers and they treat even the car owners in a similar way. Once again I suggest everyone....DO NOT BUY INDICA XETA....INSTEAD BUY ANY OTHER CAR FROM MARUTI OR HYUNDAI.
