I am using Xeta GLG
Just thot of sharing the ideas why I went for It.
I was looking for a car in this segment and asusual with our Indian market the options are like Alto, Zen, Swift, wagonr, xing, Indica .....not want to try Palio....
Then my factors to choose a car are
1.safety
2.comfort driving
3.spacious interiors - for my whole family
3.economical spare parts
4.decent mileage
5.overall good servicing and after sales support
i dont want to go for Swift as it is costly ( instead opt for Esteem)and alto since it is really sucking in safety and comfort.
so I was in a dilemma to go for either wagonR or Xing.then just dropped in both these showrrooms and did a test drive.then I also tried Xeta.
the first thing I felt in other cars and Xeta is the comfort and quick pickup.I am 6 feet tall and well built.for me Xeta is really comfortable.then the smoothness in drive in a peak traffic.well I even tried climbing a near by bridge and the drive was really comfortable.with the traditional design of TATA the safety feature is reasonably good as compared to any other cars in this segment.
wagonR has only 4 person capacity and xing spare parts are really costly. just go compare total spare parts cost and per annum maintenance cost of Xeta with any other car in this segment . I bet u will end up in Xeta.
now I can see most of them complaining Xeta for its less mileage.i bet as compared to xing , swift this car is equally gives 12 - 14 kmpl.My friend has got one Palm-green Xeta and he gets 13 in traffic. And then the price of the Car is really less. With this much power and facilities they could have even kept the price higher.(thats my feeling)
so that gives the reason why I narrowed down to Xeta which has every thing I am looking for.
Really a true value for money.
Here I have given partial ratings on fuel consumption and reliability because I am just using this for a month.I would give my true ratings on these factors after my first service.
