Hi All,
I took a test drive of Xeta GLX yesterday. I would say, on an average it is a good car. It all depends on ones expectations and requirement. Here is a brief summary:
It offers a good power and pickup.
Good suspension - I drove through the Old Madras road in Bangalore. Quite comfortable for the driver as well as passengers in the rear.
Very good interiors.
Of course, good leg room and interior space for all.
Brakes are quite good (I just avoided a collision :) ).
Power Steering is quite good (though not as good as compared to the Electronic PS on other cars).
Forward gears are not that rough as people generally say; except if you are used to Maruti/Hyundai kind of gears, you might find it a bit tough.
A/C is good.
The reverse gear is a lot more rough; at times it is hard to bring back to neutral.
Some of the switches and door locks etc. are a bit raw - or not smooth.
