It was a very pleasant journety with my Xeta 1.4 for 3000 km when I was in india. First of all I was little doubt about the space, long journey reliability and particulary the suspension. All are more than 5’8" . When I see the comments on the gear shifting I was little worried about that before purchasing. But it is better than my corolla which I am driving in middle east. Only u need to understand the gear shifting little bit.
Need not to hold the top of the knob and push hear and there. Just bring the leaver to the neutral path before push to the next one either lower or upper order. It is very very comfrotable vehicle for 5 Plus one children. The Amazing I have noticed is the aircondition performance plus the fuel consumption. I got nearly 15 with the full ac on during my nonstop trip to south. The maximum stpeed I tried was 120 in the express highway in that it was parallel to tavera or innova .
Santro, Alto, Zen, swift no way near to this. On the highway it is showing the muscle power to the japanese babies. When I compare the prices GLX model of 1.4 u need to spend 5.5 lac plus for this kind of comfort and also for the tech specification. The breaks are well defined. The another amazing thing I noticed is the suspension and the engine efficiency on the non stop driving. I drove the vehicle 700 km with a break of just 40 mtt. During my trip of 3000 km I had only one problem of puncture. nothing else.
Apart from all I had a bad experiece on the wheel cover. I lost my 3 wheel cover. So advise others to tie with the cable tie the wheel cover from the theft / or jumping out while jerking. After the 3000 km I asked the dealer to chek the vehicle. But nothing was wrong on the any part of the vehicle . On the city driving of chennai it is very comfortable with the ac plus high torque.
My final word is to the dealer. VSTMOTORS ANNANAGAR gave me very good cooperation at the time of delivery. I got the delivery of the vehicle on 20 th december as they promised and also my choice of colour which is salsa red inspite of the Rs 25000/ offer rush. I cannot get such features car for just 363000/
I strongly recomend this to people who think about their money value. A big congrad to Mr Ratan and his team. " FROM TEA TO TRUCK " nobody can beat TATA.
