If you look at xeta specs on Tata’s site the mileage remains 14kmpl even for the new 1200 cc model. In my limited knowledge of automobiles I would expect the mileage to go up slightly if not more if the vehicles engine volume is reduced by .2 litres. If all other factors remain the same then cutting down on engine volume would mean burning lesser oil per stroke and hence should result in better mileage but the company for some reason isnt talking abt this improved feature. Is it because they are afraid that the 1400cc models would rot in godowns if they brag abt the mileage of the newer version?? Does anyone have a first hand experience of the new models mileage?
Im only balking at buying a xeta because of the Mileage factor and I have no sure answers this way or that..
Would apprecitae if you guys can help me make up my mind.
