I have read some of the reviews here and wondering what are they emphasizing to marketindica x cars.
Somebody say its value for money.
Somebody say tata has improved its technology from its earlier state.
Somebody say its spacious.
Someothers say its less in price. So it is worth to buy it.
How would you say it is value for money first of all? If it is less priced with less features and less safety?
If you just want more space and less in price, I would suggest you can go for buying a share auto, it has all that what you stated.
See, you are going to spend a reasonably high amount, about 4 to 5 lakhs to buy your small car.
First question is, Are you worthless to have a life saving mechanism in your car like air bags? Or, to save others life and yours, shouldnt you have ABS / EBD?
Second, reliability isnt a matter for you?
Third, dont you expect your car should behave good for years.? . the parts under bonnet matters here.
Fourth, Dont you want a good quality interiors rather than showcasing like good?
Fifth, Dont you need a good security of your car?
Sixth, Do you expect your car should make you exhausted while driving a long distance? Or, do you want your long drive a pleasure?
Seventh, Do you want to spend more money frequently to maintain your car?
And so on.
I would like to quote an example comparision here.
If you buy a Ritz zxi car, it costs around 5.4 Lakhs on road in chennai. It comes with ABS, iCats, Tilt steering column, EBD, airbags, in-build audio system, height adjustable seats, rear defogger / wiper, fog lamps at both front and rear, .and so on. If you consider the core part, it has aluminium engine with high quality plastic parts surrounded it, giving a long life and better efficiency, yes, suzukis all new K12M serves for you.
If you consider the driving pleasure, I am damn sure you wont get exhausted if you drive it continuosly for 1000 kms without break.
If you buy a vista car, most of these will be missing there and they have cut the price for these parts and the cost seems to be less. But acutally, the cost would be more for tata cars if you add all these features.
So think twice before buying a car for just more space and less in price.
Hi Friends,
Tata cars posses a good thing - they can be compared only with other Tata cars and thats how people are doing. If you ever driven any other branded cars, I think, you will never go for a Tata car. I have been driving many small cars like, swift, wagonR, i10, jazz, and fabia(some of them are my friends). Right now, I own Fabia and Ritz. .Coming to the subject, I drove my friends vista car last week for around 80 kilometers. I had a "very good" experience.?.
Soon after starting, it sounds like a tempo traveller and I got good massaging by its vibration too.
You can never compare the handling and drivability with any other cars other than Tata cars. It provides no significant safety features. The instrument cluster itself seems to be good but its not meant for driver in this car, instead it is for the rear passengers. The only good thing about this car is less in price . by compromising the good things that should have by a owners car.
Finally, if you can spend some 4 Laks and if you are unable to spend some 30 to 50 K more for a really good car, you can definitely go for a tata car.
