After doing bit of research and mainly the reveiws, I bought a Vista Quadrajet and its 21 days now, so thought to write a review.
I feel good about,
1)Price, availability of the vehicle(unlike swift/ritz), no waiting
2)average is good I get 16-17 kms ON A/C in 75-25 city/highway driving respectively
3)the rear space is excellent I bet Swift/Ritz are no where near, my friends appreciate a lot
4)its FIAT engine, proved successful(i got to know from the online reviews)
5)Pickup is good, I expected poor pickup but I feel good pickup.
6)noise insulation is better, can be improved
Feel bad about
10the dealer service still needs to improve. I was promised Teflon(paint protection) but not done on delivery day, though they gave a coupon for the same.
2)It took almost one day(3 hrs plain waiting to start the process) for me to get the delivery. The feedback from I got from Tata doesnot have self addressed envelope, meaning I need to pay for my feedback.!
3)the dealer showroom didnot have service in the same location, so any small/big you have to travel 5-6 kms and this gives way to miscommunication b/w the ndealer & service networks.this is temporary until your registraction is complete. Later on u donot anyways need the showroom service.
4)gears are still hard, will get that checked in first service.
5) the carpet near the foot mechanicals is not properly sticketd. I see them open up exposing the floor.
6)one of the front tryres developed the valve problem. The air leaked very slow. Got fixed in a puncture shop
7)loan processing is a major headache as the tata and banks are not closely tied. Dealers make you run for many things.
Tata motors must focus on dealers service and try providing customer satisfaction.
I owned a Maruti zen before, and their service is excellent, pickup/drop, on spot fixing in case the vehicle is not serviced properly in workshop, confirm calls from customer care, quick paper works, good reception in offices etc.
