I had purchased indica vista safire Anniversary limited edition on 14 Feb 2009 from balaji cars kalyan. I found spacious , good looking fully loaded with decent music system with bluetooth enabled. I am FE around 10-11km\lt in city and 12-14 km/l on highway.Vista had some typical problems. It lags power due to its weigth to power ratio specially in traffic conditions. Its brake pedal becomes hard during bumper to bumper condition.
A\c is ineffective specially in rear seat during hot summer sun.
P\W switches are faulty due to poor quality supplied by previous vendor.
Tyres by Goodyear makes lot of noise of road which is annoying.
I had take up issues with TAtA customer support-
Regarding brake pedal they had given stupid explanation that they had used new braking system while applying brakes you had to applied clutch during bumper to bumper traffic, which I tried but found impractical and found other safire users also face the same braking problem and reply what they get from TASSC is same and if this system is inbuilt why they had not mentioned in manual and why they had not educated the safire customers.All the safire customers should file a case in consumer court.
Regarding P\W switches waiting of 2 month is going on, as switches provided by previous vendor was faulty and now they are providing mind switches, On inquiring to manager customer support they said it was wrong feedback by dealers you will get switches in three days, still I am waiting from more than weeks time.
TATA had launched Service Edge-Response in minutes resolve in hours.
Customer support mangers doesn’t respond to complaint mails forget about minutes and days?? resolve only god can answer???
I recommend the vista only to whose who can fight with TATA customer support services.i.e you should know how to break pista.
New Feedback to all users-
1) Many complaints had been registered to different dealers for braking issues and it is found nearly in all vechiles.
2) Regarding A\C issue all plant experts had studied by car and also compred it with new car , but results are same AC cutoffs frequently in bumper to bumper traffic which results in suffocation in rear seat and there experts himself had admitted it is an abnormality and design fault.
I request all saffire users please if you have such issues take it very seriously and I am also planning to go in consumer court.
