Its really a bad band,
They boast a speed up to 512 that you may not get during business hours.
Its not just the speed, the way the service is. Tata Indicom service is a real bad experience. Right from the beginning of pre-sale to post-sale. The response from their side is poor.
Right now Im facing a problem that most of the time my connection is becoming inactive. I use a Router provided by Tata Indicom/vsnl/DSL and paid 9000+ to them for the connectivity. In the past couple of days I had complained many times for action. Their response is very cheap, once their call centre chap asked me to delete the temporary internet files to enable the connectivity when I can connect with other ISPs.
But when u shout at them you will get a response otherwise they will put you in lots of jargons and finally will tell you that within 24 hours you will get a resolution.
I have been suffering with all these dramas for a long since I bought this connection and really on the verge of saying bye to Indicom broad band.
