Hi,


All this started in the month of march, after they have changes my driver for the modem, after they changed the driver my usage was showing more than 8 times my normal average use, when asked the customer call centre can say all is format the system u have virus (compliant number 1583214), they should be joking when they want to format my system for their prob, and in the mean time I have asked them to reduce the interenet speed for 128 KBPS and they also did the same but still the usage was shown the same, and it went to the peak on 8th April 2005, in a 128 KBPS line the usage was shown as 64 MB in 1 hr 2 mins, where as the usage cant cross 57MB in 1 hr at a 100% capacity on a 128 KBPS line, when this was reported again the same parrot talk virus format the system, even after explaining all the above still the female sitting in the call center says virus format.


then I gave it for disconnection on 8th and no response from VSNL, again sent a reminder on 11th and 12th no resposne, then I paid my old dues on 14th , this is after cancellation on 8th and reminder on 12th.


still they never bothered to cancel the line, then I got one more bill in the month of may, and when cc was asked they where joking saying that my connection was disconnected coz of the non payment of bill.


I am communicating with a executive of Tata indicom VSNL, I hd send three reminders for disconnection and they didnt bother about the letters send to them, I paid a bill of 2095/- after giving the disconnection letter and today they have send one more bill for 1070/- and they want me to pay this. When I said this is a disputed amount, the answer from the person who called up was, billing department said u have used, so u have to pay the bill.


I am not sure how to handle this, is there anyway we can sue them and if so how to do that, If someone can guide me about this I will be greatful, atleast if someone sues them and take them to court they may restrain themselfs from doing these non sense.


I was happy till it was with DDSL, once VSNL took over all the problems has started. These people cant be contacted over phone, or personally, they can be communicated only through e-mails.


Still I dont understand how a Tata’s group is operating with this sort of USeless, incompetent people


Note : This is the greatest thing, when I checked my useage on june 3rd , I got shocked to know that VSNL has gone to the extend of altering the log file, now it is showing on april 8th I have used for 2 hrs and 2 mins in place of 1hr and 2 mins.
